CRED-COMMUNITY REALIGNMENT EDUCATION
& DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

ABOUT US
Community Realignment Education Development was founded in 2018 by DeQuan Patterson, a Formerly Incarcerated Individual.
The CRED program works to end mass incarceration and reduce the rate of recidivism in California. CRED works to empower former and currently incarcerated individuals to thrive by providing financial literacy training, comprehensive reentry services, job opportunities and supportive housing.
CRED's main goal is to provide case management support along with permanent housing and interpersonal skill training support so our clients can thrive as self-sufficient individuals. CRED is unique in being a lived experience expert-based organization serving minorities as our main clientele to bridge the barrier gap in services.
CRED serves survivors of systemic injustice and misplacement due to recidivism, homelessness, domestic violence, gang violence, and human trafficking.
